Sewing Machinist
We require the services of a Skilled Sewing Machinist who has experience using Industrial sewing machines to join our Stores operation team based at Darra.
Stores Operation is a significant aspect of the management of our customers experience from installation to ongoing maintenance of uniforms. You will be required to use a sewing machine for basic repairs, zippers, buttons as well as attaching logos onto garments.

- Hourly rate - $25.77 + 25% casual loading + 12% super
- Weekly paid
Darra Laundry is part of Ensign Services, the largest linen and textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia. Our Laundry plants manage the garment, textile and laundry requirements of customers in the essential services of healthcare and aged care together with the hospitality and accommodation sectors.
Your duties will include:
- Branding- labelling of uniforms.
- RFID tagging
- Sewing
- Repairs of uniforms
- Data entry
- Stock transfer
Skills and Experience:
- Skilled Sewing Machinist
- Proven experience in sewing, alterations & repairs
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
